This is "okinomiyaki" (noodles, vegetables, eggs, flour) cooked like a pancake, very similar to Egg Foo Young. There are several ways to prepare it - Oosaka style (flat) and Hiroshima style (mountain), and may be some other ways... The restaurant is specially set up for it. Each table is a grill, you can order different items from the menu and cook them yourself. I remember there are eggs, some kind of noodles and some unknow items. It's alot of fun playing with your food. My friend is cooking something for us.

Typically, pagoda is part of a temple, in the old days, that's where people store their ashes. It is still true for some today. (26k)
