One advice, do not convert your dollar at the airport, you will get the worst rate in the whole island. Hong Kong, shopper's paradise! Soon after we checked into the hotel, we started to roam the streets. There are electronics shops everywhere. After checking out blocks and blocks of shops, I finally bought a Sony 4 inch hand-held TV/VCR unit that measures 5 1/2 x 4 x 2 1/2.

I love gadgets that is compact and multi-functional. It cost more than a 25" TV, but, it's so neat! So, after 3 hours we landed, I have spent 2/3 of the budget for Hong Kong, I could just go home now. It was amazing that I was able to stretch the remaining dollars for the rest of the 3 days.
