I have given some of my paintings to good friends. For the first few years, I could not part with ANY of my paintings. After a couple of years, I have finally gained the confidence of knowing I really can paint -- I don't need to keep the paintings around to prove I can do it. I was then able to part with my "babies". I have sold a few, and have given many away to friends who really appreciate my work.
