I took a watercolor course in 1980 at OSU from a visiting professor Wang Lan, a famous watercolorist from Taiwan. I was pleasently surprised to discover my artistic talent. Here are some of my paintings.

Autumn Dream, 1980 23x20 My very first watercolor. After I painted this, I thought "wow, this is so easy! I could do a lot of this". But, they didn't always turn out well. I had to pitch quite a few throughout the years.

Mystique, 1980 22 x 19 1/2 This was done during the class. I wanted to paint a rabbit, however, professor Wang walked by and changed it to a bird. After he left, I changed it back to a rabbit -- I just *had to* paint a rabbit!

Dance, 1983 18 3/4 x 23 3/4 Do you see the grace and beauty of a dancer?
