Cindy is a native of Taiwan where in 1974 she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese Literature. She immigrated to the United States in 1978 and began taking classes at the Ohio State University. It was at OSU that her artistic talent first came to light while she was studying watercolor. Samples of her artwork can be found online at http://www.innotia.com/ccs/art.shtml and http://www.innotia.com/ccs/design.shtml. Cindy decided to work towards a formal degree at OSU, first pursuing Industrial Design, but later gravitating towards Computer and Information Science, receiving her M.S. in 1988. She was employed as a software developer at AT&T Bell Laboratories, which later became Lucent Technologies. In 2001 she accepted an early retirement package

The following year Cindy began to explore beaded jewelry as an art form. She was attracted to the wide range of shapes, sizes and colors of available beads. In addition Cindy has found it to be very gratifying to create beautiful, wearable artwork. She started to experiment with artist's wire in mid-2003. Instead of following other people's footstep in making wire-wrapped jewelry, she wanted to explore different path. In January 2004 she has finally mastered the material and was able to create stunning necklace and earrings. Her creations continue to evolve as she expands her craft into beadmaking in 2008.
